TYLER, Texas - American Standard Heating & Air Conditioning's Clean and Comfortable Home Tour, a traveling exhibit designed to educate consumers on the importance of clean indoor air, has just completed visits to five home shows this fall.

Hosted in cooperation with American Standard distributors, the traveling truck display explained the impact of poor indoor air quality on family life and health. The public was invited to step inside the exhibit to learn more about clean indoor air and the new American Standard AccuClean whole house air filtration system. Activities included:

  • Dust Bunny Hop: Step inside a house to see how many "dust bunnies" you can catch swirling through the air.

  • What's Your Indoor Air IQ?: Test your indoor air quality knowledge by answering four questions.

  • Magnification Station: Peek through a magnifying glass to get a close-up view of everyday particles found in the home like dust, pet dander, and pollen.

  • Take a Deep Breath: See how many microscopic particles can be inhaled inside a house without a whole house air filtration system compared to a house with a whole house air filtration system.

    The exhibit also included prizes and giveaways, such as the Clean and Comfortable Home Coloring & Activity book to help educate children.
