The BQ balanced-port, interchangeable cartridge-style TEV expands the company’s Q-valve line. The line satisfies the need for valve specialization while simplifying and reducing inventory, says the company. It handles 2,900 different TEV applications, eliminating concerns about the numerous old and new refrigerants encountered on service calls, the manufacturer says. Cartridges in both the conventional and balanced-port designs are inserted from the top of the valve, providing access to the cartridge without disturbing connections.
