The Model 17 commercial-duty motor line is designed for applications requiring low to medium starting torques. The motors are rated between 1/6 and 1 hp in both single and three phase. Design and construction features include 60 Hz, 115/230 vac single phase, 230/460 vac three phase; Class B insulation; ODP steel band treated for corrosion protection; sealed ball bearings; optional thermal overloads; and finned end rings for improved cooling.
