WASHINGTON, DC — The National Air Filtration Association (NAFA) has completed development of its NAFA Product Certification (NPC) program. According to the association, the program will ensure that end users of air filtration products have access to accurate and verifiable information when selecting air filtration products.

The NPC program was developed over a five-year period and allows independent, third-party verification of filter performance using ASHRAE’s Standard 52.2 for testing filter efficiency based on particle size. NAFA also says that the program will help air filtration practitioners ensure that the products they use meet the specifications of each filtration application.

The association also announced that it will hold its annual convention in Broomfield, CO, from Sept. 19-22.
