The program will take place at the W Hotel in Seattle November 7-9. The first day is a preconference workshop that will be instructed by John Skog, P.E., president of Maintenance & Test Engineering Company. Issues addressed at the preconference will include documented Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) approach to reliability planning and maintenance, incorporating maintenance in to a customer service strategy, practical RCM training, and more.
On November 8, a number of courses and seminars will be offered. They include, “Determining the Optimum Level of Reliability,” and “How to Apply Reliability Improvement Methods to Your Distribution System.” Also presented on this day will be two case studies on reliability from Puget Sound Energy and Niagara Mohawk.
On November 9, several more case studies will be presented. These will include, “How Keyspan Used New Distribution Automation to Improve Reliability and Customer Satisfaction,” “Using Steel Distribution Poles to Increase System Reliability,” and “How to Value and Prioritize Your Reliability Project Options.”
