The Vortex Kooler is a cooling system that uses compressed air to cool electrical enclosures. It is especially effective for cooling small- to medium-sized enclosures, where heat loads are 2,500 Btuh and below, says the company. The unit has the ability to cool below the ambient temperature, maintain a NEMA 4/4X or NEMA 12 enclosure pro-tection category, and reduce the maintenance requirements typically associated with air conditioners and filter fans, the company says.
