The new WCSP-D chilled water unit is a hydronic fancoil unit that uses chilled or heated water from a chiller or boiler to provide conditioned air through the company’s prefabricated, pre-insulated flexible duct system, says the company. Chilled or heated water from the building’s central system passes through the six-row coil to deliver conditioned air to the space. However, rather than requiring a separate condensing unit for each air handler, several air handlers can be tied into one central heating or cooling plant, significantly reducing equipment costs, the company says.SpacePak, a division of Mestek, Inc., 260 N.
