At last year’s expo in Dallas, TX, the AHR presented a free building automation training session. Of the five sessions that were available, four had over 100 individuals taking part. The success of this free training session has prompted AHR to offer even more opportunities at its upcoming expo, to be held Jan. 29-31, 2001, in Atlanta, GA.
New Endorsements
For several years, the AHR Expo has been supported by the Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration Institute (ARI), the Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Institute of Canada (HRAI), and the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Condition-ing Engineers (ASHRAE).This year, the expo has the endorsement of 15 new organizations.
According to Clay Stevens, president of International Expo-sition Company, which is organizing the expo, the new endorsing organizations will have the opportunity to open themselves to new attendees and visitors.
“They will have an excellent opportunity to let visitors see what they can do as far as education.”
The organizations will have their names cited in connection with the expo and are invited to have their own informational booths.
The new endorsements are from:
There will be several opportunities to take part in training sessions at the expo, and many of them are at no charge.
