ATLANTA, GA — The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) announced that its 2001 Winter Meeting will focus on practical applications, real experiences, and use in the field.

The systems, applications, and refrigeration tracks are highlights of the meeting, which will take place Jan. 27-31 in Atlanta’s Georgia World Congress Center.

Information on pumping design and performance modeling of geothermal heat pump systems will be presented in a symposium, and the economic impact of aging pipe in hvac systems will be studied, to name just two of the topics.

Registration for the 2001 Winter Meeting is $410 prior to Dec. 15 and $480 thereafter.
