American Standard (Tyler, TX) has given its 2000 Distributor of the Year Awards for each of its seven regions at its annual distribution meeting in Palm Springs, CA. Recipients were:
Northeast —American Air Distributing(West Chester, PA);
Midwest —Wolff Brothers Supply(Medina, OH);
Western —CFM Equipment(Sacramento, CA);
Southeast —Noland Company(Jackson-ville, FL);
North Central —Munch’s Supply(New Lenox, IL);
Mid-Atlantic —R.E. Michel Company(KY and WV); and
South Central —Aces AC Supply, Inc. (TX and OK).
In addition, Aces AC Supply was named as the first National Distributor of the Decade.
A.O. Smith Electrical Products Company (Tipp City, OH) has become the first motor manufacturer certified by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) as conforming to the Energy Policy Act of 1992 (EPAct). DOE issued the compliance certification number “001A” to A.O. Smith, verifying the company’s general-purpose motors meet or exceed new government standards for efficiency.
Henry Technologies (Melrose Park, IL) announces the addition of two new sales representatives: Paragon Engineered Products (St. Louis, MO) and Clark Johnson Company (La Mirada, CA).
Emerson Motors (St. Louis, MO) has developed and released an online program that will allow customers to access product performance and dimension information over the Internet at www.usmotors.com.
State Industries (Ashland City, TN) announced the winners of two free trips to a Richard Petty Driving Experience track. The contest winners were Dan McAvoy of Heritage Plumbing (Hoffman Estates, IL) and Jeff Harris of Charlotte Engineers (Charlotte, NC).
