According to Carrier, indoor package commercial units are often found in multistory office buildings, where they allow tenants to control the heating and cooling comfort level.
According to Tom Gaubatz, general manager of Carrier’s commercial airside group, the event signifies much more than just a product launch for Carrier Corporation.
“We’ve taken our years of experience as the hvac leader and repackaged it in Ecozone to serve the indoor package unit market,” said Gaubatz. “This is much more than an expansion, this is a serious commitment by Carrier to its North American customers and its employees in Wichita Falls.”
Since purchasing Magic Aire in 1999, Carrier has made investments in engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, and sales staff, as well as more than $2.5 million in capital investments, according to the manufacturer.
