ATLANTIC CITY, NJ — At the 2002 International Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigerating (AHR) Exposition, Munters Corp. (Amesbury, MA) announced that is had acquired high-efficiency cooling media manufacturer Glacier-Cor (University Park, IL).

Glacier-Cor manufactures evaporative cooling media used in climate control systems for agriculture, horticulture, and other industries.

“The Glacier-Cor brand is widely recognized for high-efficiency performance,” said Mike McDonald, president and ceo of Munters. “Our objective is to provide Glacier-Cor customers enhanced value by continuing to provide the traditional range of media products, backed by Munters’ extensive expertise and know-how. We will retain the brand and its distribution channels independent of Munters’ existing products.”
