The DirectSense IAQ mobile computer-based monitor collects reliable, detailed indoor environmental quality information, says the manufacturer. Using either a pocket PC, handheld PC, or mini- notebook computer, temperature, relative humidity, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, and air velocity measurements can be displayed and datalogged, says the company. Modeled after the Windows “folders” format, the software automates the organization of data, calibration history, statistics, field notes, graphic files, and audio files in a specific location, says the manufacturer.
