Sprayon® RTV silicone sealants are suitable for applications, including formed-in-place gaskets, sealing, bonding, adhering, caulking, and water-proofing, says the manufacturer. The room temperature vulcanization (RTV) silicones have a temperature range of -80?F (-62¿C) to 140¿F (60¿C) for both gunnability and curing, says the company. With a temperature range from -80¿ to 450¿F, the sealants’ one-part acetoxy formulas produce durable and permanently flexible, 100% silicone seals and will not foul engine sensors, shrink, crack, crumble, or dry out, according to the manufacturer.
