NORTH ANDOVER, MA — Watts Industries, Inc., has acquired Dumser Metallbau GmbH & Co. KG in Landau, Germany. Dumser’s main products are brass, steel, and stainless steel manifolds used as the prime distribution devices in hydronic heating systems.

Dumser also produces “Boiler Sets,” which comprise a wall-mounted cabinet to be installed in the vicinity of the boiler. The cabinet contains a factory-assembled set that includes a circulation pump and pressure, temperature, and flow controls. This Boiler Set is designed to save contractors time in the installation of a hydronic heating circuit, the company said.

Timothy P. Horne, Watts Industries’ chairman and ceo, said the acquisi-tion “strengthens our leadership in the European hydronic heating markets.”

He added that Dumser products are suited to be used in conjunction with hydronic heating systems made by Heatway, of Springfield, MO, which Watts recently acquired.
