Horizontal or vertical commercial belt-drive air-handling units are stocked in sizes from 2 to 20 tons, 600 through 9,000 cfm, in chilled water or evaporating unit styles. Modifications can add hot water, steam, or electric heat; single-phase or three-phase motors; extra-capacity coils; mixing boxes; and inlet or outlet plenums, says the manufacturer. The units are designed with up to 1 1/2 in. of external static pressure.
