• A joint committee has been formed between the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) International and the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of America to coordinate efforts on public policy initiatives, product development, and membership.

  • George D. Miller, president and CEO of the nonprofit National Fire Protection Association (Quincy, MA), has announced his official retirement for May 2002. This marks the official start to search for a successor. A search committee, led by Second Vice Chair of the NFPA, George Ockuly, has been formed to find a replacement. The search committee plans to advertise this month and anticipates a nine to 12 month process to complete the selection.
