Putting together care packages for the U.S. troops are (from left) Carol Gougen, executive director, SMACNA-Arizona; Devin Boisvert, staff member, SMACNA-Arizona; Regina Ramirez, SMACNA-Arizona contractor; and Sherry Talley, staff member, SMACNA-Arizona.
Care packages included necessities such as travel-size bottles of mouthwash, toothpaste, tissues and hand sanitizer, as well as more hard-to-find “state-side” items, such as magazines, candy, beef jerky, nuts, and powder Gatorade.
“SMACNA of Arizona wanted to do its part to support our troops,” said Carol Goguen, executive director. “By getting these care packages out right away, hopefully our troops will get a sense that we are behind them 100 percent.”
