NEW YORK, NY — Rheem Manufacturing Company, headquartered here, has announced the promotion of Ian Stewart Farwell to the position of corporate executive vice president and chief operating officer. In his new position, Farwell will oversee operations, materials, and human resources at all Rheem manufacturing operating division in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.

Farwell, a 26-year Rheem employee, has extensive management experience, serving as division president for both the Water Heater and Air Conditioning Divisions during his tenure. He most recently served as president of the Air Conditioning Division, headquartered in Fort Smith, AR.

Rheem also announced the appointment of J. R. Jones as president of the company’s Air Conditioning Division. Jones was most recently vice president and general manager of the Heatcraft Refrigeration Products Division of Lennox Industries. In that position, he was responsible for all refrigeration business units of Lennox International in North and South America.
