  • Air Movement and Control Association (AMCA) International Inc. elected officers at the 47th Annual General Meeting. The officers are:
    — President, Dr. W.T.W. Cory, Flakt Woods Ltd.;
    — Chair of the board, Lance Nailor, Nailor Industries Inc.;
    — Vice president, Thomas R. Edwards, Ruskin Co.;
    — Treasurer, Lee Buddrus, Acme Engineering and Manufacturing Corp. and U.S. Fan International; and
    — Director-at-large on the executive committee, Pete Neitzel, Greenheck Fan Corp. and Future Products Corp.
    Also elected to AMCA International's board for three-year terms were:
    — Michael Barry, Twin City Fan Companies, Ltd.; and

  • Philip W. Fairey has been named interim director of the Florida Solar Energy Center.

  • Jerry Skerven, P.E. and Doug Newby have been hired as national accounts managers by A.J. Manufacturing Inc. (Bloomer, WI).

  • Daniel J. Bennet will serve as president/CEO of Decker College/Construction Careers of America, beginning Jan. 15, 2003. Prior to this position, he was president of the National Center for Construction Education and Research.
