“We use HELP quite extensively,” said Steve Mueller, estimator and sales representative for Bettendorf. “We have a good reputation in our community. Our service is great. We get a lot of referrals from existing to new customers.
“The Tempstar product is supported from our office manager to our service guys to our installers.” Mueller added that his company presents the HELP plan as part of the sales package on every proposal and most customers buy what he calls “our 10-year plan.”
Bettendorf Heating & A/C, owned by Tom Kale, started out as a family business 35 years ago. The company does mostly residential replacement work and usually employs around 10 people, depending on the season.
