The new Model SA-UVSR radiometer uses a green-yellow-red LED readout to indicate the relative output of the UV light source being measured, alerting the user to the system’s status. According to the company, the radiometer determines the remaining life of UV lights, thereby preventing premature changeout. Housed within high-impact, heat-resistant ABS plastic, the unit’s electrical requirement is 24 VAC, 60 Hz, and 0.2 A. It has an analog output of 0.1 to 0.5 V into a 5-K Ohm load, with 0.5 equaling 100% of UV lamp output. The optical-electrical and component operating temperature range is between 35 and 160 degrees F. A choice exists between normally closed and normally open, 3.0-A relay with input intensity setpoints for variable control.
