LEESBURG, VA — SkillsUSA-Vocational Industrial Clubs of America (VICA) will hold its National Leadership and Skills Conference and 38th SkillsUSA Championships in Kansas City, MO, June 24-28, 2002.

The Opening General Session will begin on June 25, with the leadership contests and skills contests held on June 26-27. An awards ceremony will be held June 28.

Over 4,000 students will be competing in 73 contests in H. Roe Bartle Hall. The championships are open to the public for viewing free of charge. The contest covers several trade areas including Construction Technology (which includes hvac).
