"Kevin championed the cause of elevating his fellow contractors to the level of high-performing contractor," said SMACNA president Jack Desmond. "Not only did he take a leading role in publishing Creating the High-Performing Contracting Company-Best Practices for SMACNA Contractors, he negotiated the services of a prominent industry consultant to assist SMACNA members in pursuing, achieving, and maintaining increasingly higher levels of company and individual competence."
According to the association, the book is a hands-on primer for management to use in assessing a company's approach to leadership, planning, building customer relationships, monitoring business operations, and evaluating the quality of financial and operational results. "Kevin's role in providing affordable consulting services to deliver this powerful strategy makes this program incredibly attractive for both large and small contracting firms," Desmond said.
