BRISTOL, Va. — Embraco, a manufacturer of hermetic compressors for refrigeration, and Bristol Compressors Inc., a producer of air conditioning compressors for the world market, announced an alliance for worldwide distribution of refrigeration and air conditioner compressors.

Embraco will distribute Bristol’s complete line of air conditioner and commercial refrigerator compressors for the replacement market in the Americas, and will supply commercial refrigeration compressors that use R-404A. Bristol will maintain a select group of clients and present accounts with air conditioner assemblers. Embraco will also introduce a complete line of condenser units using Bristol’s largest compressors, which will complete Embraco’s current line.
