OTTAWA — The Canadian government’s Natural Resources Canada, Office of Energy Efficiency (OEE) chose the winners of the Energy Efficiency Awards for 2003. Turbocor’s (Dorval, Quebec) twin turbine refrigeration compressor was one of the 19 winners selected as the “best in class” from among more than 170 projects nominated for the annual awards.

According to OEE, the awards “recognize innovation and achievement in energy efficiency, and raise awareness that energy efficiency is a key part of Canada’s response to climate change.”
