• Rheem Air Conditioning Division (Fort Smith, Ark.) has appointed Ed Lightner to the position of product support manager.

  • ICOR International (Indianapolis) announced that effective Jan. 1, 2004, it will no longer equip any of its disposable refrigerant cylinders with a liquid pickup tube. The tube was designed to alleviate the need for inverting a cylinder to charge the refrigerant in a liquid state. The company's Hot Shot and NU-22 refrigerants must be charged as liquids. Cylinders as well as their boxes will have instructional labels on them designed to avoid end user confusion during the charging process.
