Rheem Air Conditioning Division (Fort Smith, Ark.) has appointed Ed Lightner to the position of product support manager.
ICOR International (Indianapolis) announced that effective Jan. 1, 2004, it will no longer equip any of its disposable refrigerant cylinders with a liquid pickup tube. The tube was designed to alleviate the need for inverting a cylinder to charge the refrigerant in a liquid state. The company's Hot Shot and NU-22 refrigerants must be charged as liquids. Cylinders as well as their boxes will have instructional labels on them designed to avoid end user confusion during the charging process.
