The North Texas Chapter of the Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) has announced several scholarship awards to students "actively pursuing a degree in air conditioning and refrigeration technology."

The winners are:

  • Scott Austin;

  • Danny Garr;

  • Charles Harvey;

  • Curtis Justice Jr.;

  • Tuan Nguyen; and

  • Jocelyn Paul.

    The scholarships total $2,943.13 and represent the first payment to the students. Additional funds will be awarded to these students once they submit proof of continuing registration and a copy of their transcripts showing that they have maintained a "B" average during the semester.

    Funding for these scholarships is made possible by donations from chapter members and friends who sponsor and compete in two "clay shoots" each year.
