Tool Manager 5.2 features a new, built-in consumables module, completely customizable grids, and an enhanced user interface. With the consumables module, tool and equipment managers can track various supplies. Built-in quantity benchmarks automatically alert managers to reorder when inventory falls below a user-defined level. Another upgrade is the ability to export Job Status Reports to XML, HTML, Microsoft® Excel or third-party accounting packages, the company states. A new Default Grid View lets users select a default database view, and new toggle buttons and view menu are designed to provide easy access to various screens in the database.
