SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Carrier Corp. has launched its new North American Technician Excellence (NATE) Core Online Review Class. The course offers HVACR technicians a new way to prepare for the NATE certification exam.

Designed around topics found on the actual NATE Core Exam, Carrier's online prep course can be used by technicians who are looking to be certified for the first time, or for NATE-certified technicians who want to recertify. The Web-based program covers four main areas: electricity, motors, HVAC, and customer relations; the emphasis is on electricity and motors. Exam candidates can study content, browse reviews, and take practice final exams. The program is $29 for two full weeks of access.

Carrier also offers more than 470 credit hours in NATE-recognized technical training.
