RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C., and LINCOLN, R.I. - The Heating, Airconditioning & Refrigeration Distributors International Center for Advancing Technology (HARDICAT) and the Management Information Systems Group Inc. (MISG) have partnered to provide a suite of electronic data interchange (EDI) services to HARDI members through the introduction of its TransLinkâ„¢ EDI Solution.

According to MISG, TransLink offers the industry a way to exchange mission-critical business documents with trading partners. HARDI members will have the ability to trade business documents by translating data to a standard format, such as the HARDICAT EDIExpress guidelines.

"The HARDI Center for Advancing Technology is pleased to partner with MISG to provide a high level of e-commerce service to the HARDI community," said Kevin Price, director of HARDICAT. "The TransLink EDI Solution will allow all HARDI members to take advantage of EDI technologies and improve supply chain efficiencies without the need for extensive internal IT resources."
