EService gives Verizon Wireless customers with select Get It Now-enabled phones access to a field service application. Customers do not need significant technical knowledge or any additional office hardware - just an Internet-connected PC and select Verizon Wireless Get It Now-enabled phones.
Steve Davis, chief marketing officer for Econz Wireless said, "The launch of EService on Verizon Wireless' network via its Get It Now service provides customers with an industry-proven dispatch and work force management application that is low cost, easy to set up, and simple for field workers to understand and use.
"EService differs from other dispatch and tracking offerings in the way it concentrates on tracking work progress instead of just tracking people. After all, it's the work that generates the money!"
EService is specifically designed to manage field service work. It automates and streamlines job documentation, making field operations virtually paperless to reduce administrative costs, data entry times, and paperwork errors.
Other features include parts and labor tracking to improve cash flow due to timelier job invoicing. Because it operates in real time, EService provides management with up-to-the-minute information to make informed decisions.
"We are pleased with the capabilities of EService," said Jim Straight, vice president of multimedia services for Verizon Wireless. "EService gives our small-to-medium business (SMB) customers a useful and cost-effective platform for conducting field service work."
EService is available now from Verizon Wireless on select Get It Now-enabled phones, including the LG VX4500 and LG VX6000. Customers download the application from the getGoing shopping aisle of the Get It Now virtual store on select phones and access it via the Internet, where a setup wizard walks the customer through the installation process. Online tutorials and product overviews are also available.
