The new structure adds two more companies to the division — Radiodetection and Riser Bond. UDI says this allows the five companies to capitalize on complementary international distribution, research and development, manufacturing, and sales and marketing.
Herman Hinterhaeuser, former president of TIF Instruments, has been appointed president of Amprobe, Amprobe Europe, Promax, and TIF. He reports to Andy Hoare, managing director of Radiodetection, and president of the new Test Measurement Division.
John Braun, former president of the division, has left the company but remains available in an advisory capacity.
TIF, Promax, and Amprobe currently manufacture their products in four facilities, which will be consolidated into one to enhance their competitive position, states UDI.
Existing customer service-sales structures will remain in place for the time being, the company said.
