HOUSTON - Mincron Software Systems and the Management Information Systems Group Inc. (MISG) announced a strategic partnership that provides enhanced electronic business connectivity to the HVACR industry.

The partnership provides for the integration of MISG's Internet-based EDI network, TransLink, with Mincron's Enterprise software.

The integration will enable distributors to connect with their business partners via Mincron's software to exchange mission-critical business documents electronically. The collaboration enables distributors to take advantage of Internet technologies to eliminate the need to implement third-party translation software packages.

"Our collaborative efforts will deliver a tightly integrated enterprise solution that provides significant value to the Mincron community."

Mincron software, utilizing the EDI FTP Process, now will be capable of producing X.12 EDI documents, delivering these via FTP to the TransLink network. As a result, distributors are relieved of the burden of managing document translation internally.

"The integration of our TransLink solution provides Mincron customers with full EDI capabilities, eliminating the need to purchase third-party translation software," said Earl Losey, vice president of sales for MISG. "This offers significant cost-saving opportunities to distributors."
