The Opening General Session will begin on June 25, with the leadership contests and skills contests held on June 26-27. An awards ceremony will be held June 28.
Over 4,000 students will be competing in 73 contests in H. Roe Bartle Hall. The championships are open to the public for viewing free of charge. The contest covers several trade areas including the following clusters: Construction Technology (which includes hvac), Metal Technology, Food Services, Dental/Medical/Nursing, Textile Trades, School-to-Career, Design/Graphics Technology, Public Service, Cooperative Education, Electrical/Electronic, Personal Services, Leadership, General Technology, Transportation/Aviation, and Manufacturing/Automation.
All contests are run by and judged by representatives of industry using industry performance standards. A complete list of winners will be posted online after the competition at www.skillsusa.org/medalists.html (website).
