The Service Operations boot camps, held in Dallas, Sept. 28-30, and in Houston, Oct. 11-13, will address the development of a profitable service business plan. This is the latest in a series of camps scheduled throughout 2005 that also explore marketing, lead generation, and in-home retail selling.
Workshop topics include service and maintenance key performance measurement, pricing systems, service department operations, hiring and training service personnel, and marketing residential and commercial service programs.
Financial Operations boot camps, held in Oklahoma City, Oct. 19-21, Chicago, Nov. 16-18, Las Vegas, Nov. 30-Dec. 2, and in Nashville, Tenn., Dec. 7-9, will focus on the principles of company planning and financial management, including the establishment of a corporate vision, goal setting, defining action plans, financial planning, service department best practices, lead generation, and marketing.
York's BTU training supports dealers and distributors with services, materials, and training. The curriculums teach everyday business practices in workshop-style settings designed to increase learning potential and support execution.
"The camps are unique, because the instructors work side by side with the participants to make sure they grasp the content and can take what they have learned back to their co-workers," said Jeff Revlett, York training manager of North America. "Our objective is to help our dealers improve their profits as well as their performance."
