WHITE BEAR LAKE, Minn. — Contractors 2000 recently held a new workshop for Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical contractors. The new workshop, called CSR Live, debuted in Denver on Dec. 12. The event drew 37 CSRs from member shops. According to the association, the new workshop scored high ratings among members.

The workshop is based on a self-study CSR training program developed by the organization in 2001. The program covers essentials in a residential service contractor business, including the “Do’s” and “Don’ts” when dealing with customers, plus sample scripts and selling skills. The workshops utilize role-playing, exercises, and exchanges of real-life experience to educate members.
