ASHRAE announced that its third High Performance Buildings Conference, scheduled for April 7-8, 2014, at Hyatt Fisherman’s Wharf, San Francisco, will highlight proven methods for improving building operation to optimize energy efficiency and indoor environmental quality.

AAF International announced that it has entered into a global license agreement with LPD Technologies for access to unique filtration technology patented by LPD Technologies. In conjunction with the license agreement, AAF International will also acquire all plant assets of Filtration Advice Inc.

Portland/Seattle green builder Hammer & Hand unveiled its 10 predictions for the United States high performance building industry. Hammer & Hand’s Sam Hagerman said, “We see exciting developments coming in 2014.”
