The Paul B. Reed Award is presented to RSES chapters that have developed exceptional educational programs, and the Greater Detroit Chapter received this award in the Large Chapter category.
RSES awarded individuals and organizations for their outstanding achievements in, and contributions toward, the education of HVACR professionals, Oct. 2, during the 78th RSES Annual Conference in Rosemont, Illinois.
The 5-Star Award, offered in Wilson’s honor, is presented in recognition of a RSES member’s outstanding achievement in successfully completing five RSES-certified member specialist classifications.
Two members of RSES in Texas recently passed the organization’s Certificate Member (CM) exam and were awarded CM status. They are: Mark A. Ferguson, CM, of the Cowtown Chapter, Fort Worth, Texas, and Jose J. Medina, CM, of the Refrigeration Association of San Antonio Chapter, San Antonio.

RSES and TruTech Tools Ltd. have announced a new awards program to encourage RSES members to pursue additional education and training in HVACR by earning the RSES Certificate Member (CM) and Certificate Member Specialist (CMS) designations.
The Service Applications Manual (SAM) of the RSES has been one of the venerable documents of the HVACR industry. It consisted of two large loose-leaf binders in which were inserted printed training materials prepared by RSES in conjunction with industry experts.
