The Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors—National Association (PHCC) has announced the formation of the first PHCC-affiliated state chapter in South Carolina. The chapter has elected officers, identified event goals for 2016, and established a recruiting strategy to bring on new members to the organization.
The scholarships were funded by the foundation, the South Jersey Mechanical Contractors Association, Anne Williams, the PHCC Auxiliary of Texas, the PHCC Auxiliary of Massachusetts, and PHCC’s Past National Officers.
The Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors—National Association (PHCC) announced that Alan D. Givens, president and owner of Parrish Services, Manassas, Virginia, received its HVAC Contractor of the Year award presented annually by PHCC and Trane, a brand of Ingersoll Rand.
The Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors — National Association (PHCC) Educational Foundation announced its third annual HVAC Apprentice Contest will be held Sept. 30-Oct. 1, 2015 during PHCC’s CONNECT 2015 conference in Hollywood, Florida.
Gerry Kennedy, executive vice president of PHCC, formally announced he will retire Dec. 31, 2015. Kennedy made the announcement at the April 21 PHCC Board of Directors’ meeting.
Anderson was recognized for excellence in the HVACR industry, including professionalism, innovative practices, and community service, among other things.
