“It’s a pretty exciting time for our industry,” Meier said. “We’re dealing with lots of change and plenty of challenges, which both equal out to lots of opportunities for professional growth.”

“Some of my customers are the nicest people in the world and would seriously give you the shirt off their back," Lohrbach said. "Even if I change positions or were to go somewhere else, these guys would always be considered friends.”

"The parts are all the same; people make the difference," Keesling said. "Failure is acceptable, as long as you learn from it. Failure, many times, is the best teacher. Don’t be afraid to try something new. Never stop developing yourself or others. Knowledge is to be shared not buried."

“If I can make it, anyone can," Johnson said. "I took a hope and a dream, sprinkled hard work and dedication on it, and made a successful career.”

Thirteen-year industry veteran remains active outside of work by running marathons, coaching wrestling, and participating in amateur MMA fights.

Throughout his 15-plus year career in the HVACR industry, Heinze has learned there’s always more than one way to accomplish any given task.

“Helping others drives me more than any materialistic thing ever could,” Guy said. “If you value helping others, any work that you do is purposeful in the growth of yourself.”

“Each customer may require you to adapt and communicate a little differently," Grimme said. "It’s important to communicate your ideas clearly, effectively, and carefully."

AJ Garrott is 34 years old. He's been involved in HVAC contracting and distribution for 18 years -- more than half his life.

Fulton credits HVACR distribution as the catalyst of his ability to grow as a professional.
