Now in its second year, the Transition to Trades program trains transitioning soldiers in a trade, then either hires them at Hiller or helps them find new employment in the civilian workforce across the U.S.

With so many entry-level employees, companies have to rely on incorporating technology to help reach the masses, creating consistency in delivering training material.
Although the concept of automation often brings up the image of a self-checkout lane or of a robot performing manual labor, the reality is more complex. While AI can replace human decision-making using a data-driven approach, robotics can replace physical human tasks. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics released its March employment data, which revealed a slowing of job growth from previous months. A clear bright spot in the report was the 7,300 new jobs in nonresidential specialty trade construction.

Of the 235,000 jobs created in February, 25 percent were in the construction industry. The specialty construction trades drove the increase in construction employment, accounting for over 62 percent of the job growth in the construction industry.
