On National Propane Day, PERC is raising awareness of propane’s versatile applications and honoring the hardworking individuals in the propane industry who ensure that the energy source is delivered safely and efficiently.

The Propane Education & Research Council’s Energy for Everyone Hero Award recognizes the ways propane is contributing to enhanced efficiency, sustainability, and profitability, PERC said.

Propane use at Ruby’s Inn has helped eliminate 5,200 metric tons of CO² equivalent. This is equal to the greenhouse gas emissions from 1,410 gasoline-powered passenger vehicles driven for one year.
