North American Technician Excellence (NATE) announced that Jose De La Portilla of Lennox HVAC Learning Solutions has been awarded the 2016 Golden Toolbox Award. The award recognizes an industry professional who demonstrates outstanding service, support, and advocacy for technician certification.
Whatever their reasons may be for seeking out certification, NATE offers a bevy of programs and aims to help technicians across the country constantly improve themselves while also providing value to other segments of the industry.
As with the NATE certification exams, these two new certificate exams were developed by the NATE technical committee, comprised of experts from various industry sectors, including manufacturing, distribution, education and training, and contractors.
The Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) and North American Technician Excellence (NATE) recently announced the appointment of John Lanier as NATE’s new chief operating officer (COO).
North American Technician Excellence (NATE) announced that Charles “Chuck” White, vice president of technical and code services, Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors Association (PHCC) and president of Repairs Inc., is the recipient of the seventh annual Golden Toolbox award.
The continual changes in HVACR require us all to stay ahead of the curve by regularly updating our knowledge and information about the industry, equipment, and regulations. For technicians, maintaining North American Technician Excellence (NATE) certification is a great way to demonstrate their current, continuing expertise.
