The MagnaClean Micro2 features a patented magnetic filtration system that begins to capture and remove virtually all of the suspended iron oxide that collects in hydronic heating systems within minutes of installation.

Touted as a top-secret announcement for weeks, Rehau revealed the goods Monday morning with the introduction of its EVERLOC+ compression-sleeve fitting system. The unit, which is designed for use in hot and cold water potable piping systems and hydronic piping systems including radiant heating and cooling applications, is designed specifically for use with REHAU PEXa pipe.

This zone valve is for use in hydronic heating and other HVAC systems, such as those with fan coils and air handlers. The mechanical valve allows one actuator to accept input voltages between 120 and 277 vac 50/60 HZ. 

When you’re looking to heat one area of a building or home with cold spots, consider spot heating options. Cold spots that need heat include areas that may not have been included when the HVAC system was installed, such as new additions or spaces that were simply overlooked.

Several manufacturers are looking to challenge the ubiquitous furnace by offering a different option: the hydro-air system, which they claim is a cleaner, more efficient, and more comfortable alternative to conventional furnaces.

The term radiant heating makes most people think about warm floors. Although it’s true there are many excellent applications for radiant floor heating, it’s not the only type of radiant panel that can deliver excellent comfort.
