Bryan Steam will be displaying its ultra-high efficiency Triple-Flex™ Series of hot water condensing boilers, which deliver a minimum 90 percent operating efficiency with 160°F return, 180° supply at maximum input.
The new residential boiler efficiency standards just went into effect in September, with gas-fired hot water boilers now having to be a minimum of 82 percent AFUE. Many in the industry note that sales of higher efficiency boilers have been trending up, so homeowners are already expressing interest in better efficiency.
The P-K MACH® condensing boiler dual-fuel product line has been expanded. According to the manufacturer, switching from natural gas to propane is fast and easy, only requiring flipping a simple toggle switch.
The XFyre™ and XTherm™ are commercial modulating, condensing boilers. The boilers are now CSA-Certified for polypropylene venting, when used with Centrotherm Innoflue venting components. Innoflue polypropylene venting is ULC-S636- and UL-1738-approved.
NeoTherm® LC condensing boiler is a fully packaged, 1 million Btu, space-saving hydronic unit that offers 94 percent thermal efficiency. It is a direct vent, sealed combustion boiler that modulates with a 10 to 1 turndown. Zero clearance to combustibles with all piping and wiring from the back makes it a good choice for tight installations.
The condensate neutralizer accessory provides installers with an effective way to eliminate acidity from the condensation that is drained from a condensing boiler or condensing tankless unit. Some states require condensate from condensing appliances to be treated before passing into a public sewer system.
