The Dwyer Group Inc., one of the world’s largest franchising companies of trade service brands including the Aire Serv HVAC brand, has announced two executive promotions, effective immediately.

Scott and Denise Taylor, owners of Aire Serv of Huntsville in Huntsville, Alabama, received the Franchisee of the Year Award and Top Gun recognition from Aire Serv at the 2016 Dwyer Group International Conference in San Antonio. Aire Serv is the HVAC brand of the Dwyer Group.

The Dwyer Group has been active in helping military veterans as the originator of the VetFran program that offers veterans a discount on the purchase of a franchise. Now the franchisor of trade service brands announced it is awarding five veterans a $1,000 scholarship for franchise training or other franchise opening costs.

Henson Mechanical announced it is now One Hour Air Conditioning & Heating and Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. The Georgia contractor is joining forces with a national heating and cooling brand and a national plumbing brand with locations throughout North America.

Meacham Heating, Cooling & Energy Solutions announced it is joining forces with three national home services brands, One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning®, Benjamin Franklin Plumbing®, and Mister Sparky®.

Modern Mechanical has joined forces with One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning® and will eventually be known by the name One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning. Local owners Shawn Mitchell and Pete Danielson will maintain a 100 percent ownership stake in Modern Mechanical.

ABM Industries Inc. announced that Mechanical Systems Co. LLC has signed a franchise agreement to join its Linc Service franchise network. Mechanical Systems Co. is a leading provider of mechanical contracting services in Memphis, Tennessee.
