ASHRAE is heading to one of the world’s most air-conditioned cities – Houston, for the 2018 ASHRAE Annual Conference, June 23-27.
The five-day event includes eight conference tracks, one mini track, tours, social events, and a keynote message from research scientist and author, Dr. Ainissa Ramirez.
The technical program at ASHRAE’s 2018 Winter Conference will feature over 200 presentations by nearly 300 speakers. The program will include the traditional tracks on standards, fundamentals and applications, and systems and equipment, as well as tracks on industry trends in resiliency and modeling throughout a building’s life cycle.
The ASHRAE Learning Institute (ALI) has announced the 10 courses that will be offered during ASHRAE’s 2017 Annual Conference in Long Beach, California. The headlining topic is “Complying with Standard 90.1-2016: HVAC/Mechanical,” which will be held on Tuesday, June 27. This is the first time this specific course has been made available at an ASHRAE conference.
In light of recent action to amend the Montreal Protocol to phase down the production and consumption of HFCs globally, industry experts will share guidance on how to incorporate low-global warming potential (GWP) refrigerants at the ASHRAE 2017 Winter Conference.
The use of smart devices and the data insights they provide will be examined in a seminar at the ASHRAE 2016 Annual Conference taking place June 25-29 at the Marriott St. Louis Grand Hotel and America’s Center Convention Complex.
ASHRAE announced that the importance of building and system commissioning will be highlighted in the Technical Program at its 2015 Annual Conference, which takes place June 27-July 1, at the Atlanta Hilton in Atlanta.
