The Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors—National Association (PHCC) announced that Alan D. Givens, president and owner of Parrish Services, Manassas, Virginia, received its HVAC Contractor of the Year award presented annually by PHCC and Trane, a brand of Ingersoll Rand.
Three top HVAC apprentices received awards in the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors–National Association (PHCC) Educational Foundation’s third annual National HVAC Apprentice Contest, held during CONNECT 2015 in Hollywood, Florida.

Gerry Kennedy, executive vice president of PHCC, formally announced he will retire Dec. 31, 2015. Kennedy made the announcement at the April 21 PHCC Board of Directors’ meeting.
Anderson was recognized for excellence in the HVACR industry, including professionalism, innovative practices, and community service, among other things.
The Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors—National Association (PHCC), in conjunction with Trane, a brand of Ingersoll Rand, presented Mary Jean Anderson, owner of Anderson Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc., El Cajon, Calif., with the PHCC HVAC Contractor of the Year Award.
Applications are now being accepted for scholarships awarded through the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors—National Association (PHCC) Educational Foundation Scholarship Program. In 2014, up to 25 scholarships totaling $61,500 are available.
