For the past 12 years, experts from across the country have gathered in the same room for a dinner table style discussion on the most critical issues and trends impacting the HVACR industry. During the 31st Danfoss Envisioneering™ Symposium that recently took place in Washington, D.C., that topic was Resilience Solutions in Buildings & Energy.
Danfoss is accepting entries for its ninth annual EnVisioneer of the Year award competition.
Launched in 2010, the competition recognizes North American original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), building owners, municipalities, contractors, and end users that have introduced a new product, opened a new facility, or invested in a building or system upgrade in the past 18 months using Danfoss products or solutions to realize significant energy and environmental savings.
Danfoss and The Pennsylvania State University at Philadelphia last week conducted a workshop to explore the impact of energy storage on U.S. resilience and the United Nations net-zero carbon buildings program. The workshop was designed to launch preparations for the next Danfoss EnVisioneering Symposium
Danfoss recently held its 28th EnVisioneering Symposium, Refrigerants2Sustainability, in New Orleans to continue the dialogue among equipment manufacturers, end users, utilities, and regulators on the path ahead for the commercial refrigeration industry.
While transformation in buildings has been brewing for decades, the new goals of policy — in the U.S. and around the world — will require much more coherence from every corner of the HVAC industry. A group of more than 40 industry leaders met with that goal in mind at Danfoss’s 26th EnVisioneering Symposium — Tomorrow’s Buildings: New Driving Forces — June 7 in Washington, District of Columbia.
Danfoss recently hosted its 25th EnVisioneering Symposium, which addressed how an increasing industry-wide focus on refrigerants and energy is driving changes in the design, deployment, and maintenance of refrigeration equipment and supermarkets.
Launched in 2006, Danfoss’s EnVisioneering Symposia help keep HVACR industry stakeholders apprised of the latest developments in U.S. policy and industry and provide forums in which they can share ideas and information.
Danfoss' 25th EnVisioneering Symposium, “Refrigerants2Sustainability: Risks, Options, & Opportunities in Commercial Refrigeration,” addressed how an increasing industry-wide focus on refrigerants and energy is driving changes in the design, deployment, and maintenance of refrigeration equipment and supermarkets.
During the symposium, participants explored new opportunities in building integration strategy opened by developments in Internet building interface and sensor technology, experiments in community-scale building performance initiatives, and often-overlooked dynamics in building-grid management.
